Sharing talent trees is not a reason to pair two commanders: the secondary's tree does not activate. Likewise, a favourable duel against cavalry does not prove that the march ignores troop counters in a crowded field fight.

When Zhuge leads, compare Skill-tree rage and active-damage support with Archer-tree bonuses that apply to your troop composition. Check conditional talents carefully. A bonus that requires high remaining strength has less value after the march has taken sustained damage.

Enter the fight beside friendly marches, select a reachable target and watch the enemy's movement. Pull back when several opponents turn onto you. Do not let a large damage number persuade you to stay until the march routes: repeated healing and travel can make a spectacular short engagement poor value across an evening.
Review reports from comparable situations. Record troop counts, equipment, commander skills and whether either side was surrounded. One isolated result cannot establish a universal best archer march.
