Commanders: Commander hub · Epic commanders · Barbarian forts

Quick Answer

This guide covers epic Boudica, Britain's starting commander, with Skill, Integration and Peacekeeping trees. Build her for early barbarian farming and commander development. Boudica Prime is a separate legendary commander; these talents do not apply to Prime.

For a farming primary, prioritise Insight for AP efficiency, then Rejuvenate for rage and Trophy Hunter for hunting rewards. A fort setup can prioritise damage differently from a map-farming setup. If Boudica is secondary, her own talents do not apply.

Talent Priorities by Job

Job First priorities Later choices to evaluate
Map barbarian farming Insight, Rejuvenate, Trophy Hunter Thoroughbreds for travel; relevant neutral-target damage talents
Leading early forts Insight and Rejuvenate Damage and rage talents, including Feral Nature, according to available points
Secondary behind another commander Her skills and star unlocks Spend talent resets on the primary instead

These are named priorities, not a complete point-by-point allocation. Prerequisite nodes consume points too. Do not use an approximate three-tree split as an executable build.

The AllClash Boudica build reference includes complete visual examples. Its progression passes through Insight, Rejuvenate and Trophy Hunter before later hunting and rage talents. Check the image against your level and the current in-game tree before resetting.

Rage talents help skill cycling, but they do not guarantee a fixed five-second skill interval in every battle. Skill levels, target interaction and battle conditions matter.

Pairings and March Order

Pairing option When to consider it Important limitation
Boudica with Lohar Early map farming and commander development A farming pairing is not automatically a good PvP pair
Minamoto primary, Boudica secondary Early forts when Minamoto is already developed Uses Minamoto's talents; paid acquisition makes him unsuitable as a free-only target
Boudica with Cao Cao PvE when their skill investment supports the job Compare which commander should lead and which tree the march needs

Use your existing investment before starting another legendary project. A developed epic can be useful while a partially built legendary still lacks key skills, but rarity alone never proves which pair wins.

Skills and Investment

Prioritise developing the active skill, then the skills that support your chosen PvE job. Read the skill upgrade controls before using sculptures so that the upgrade can land where you intend.

Use epic commander resources for epic Boudica. Do not expect her levels, stars or sculptures to transfer to Boudica Prime.

When to Stop Investing

Once Boudica reliably performs the farming job you need, compare further levels with your other priorities. Secondary commanders do not need a fully allocated talent tree for that role. Keeping a useful farmer does not require treating her as a permanent open-field leader.

In developed kingdoms, compare her performance with your available combat commanders before fielding her against players. This page does not rank her against an unverified current legendary meta.

Build the Epic for PvE, Not the Prime by Accident

Epic Boudica is a working peacekeeper. The useful question is whether she makes your daily barbarian route cheaper and easier while levelling another commander. Boudica Prime is a separate archer investment with a different kit.

For ordinary barbarians, use Boudica as primary when you need her Peacekeeping talents, then put the commander receiving experience in secondary. That trainee still needs enough unlocked skills to avoid turning an easy route into repeated trips home. Against a tougher target, replace the trainee with a developed combat partner and finish the job efficiently.

What happens on your route Adjustment
The march returns home after every kill Fight an easier level or use a stronger secondary; travel and refilling are eating the benefit
AP cost is higher than expected Check the primary's talents and the displayed attack cost; a secondary Peacekeeping tree does not apply
You want to hit several barbarians from one attack Use a suitable area-damage partner and learn the pull in the chaining guide
You are tempted to use legendary sculptures Keep them for a deliberate legendary project; epic Boudica uses the epic progression pool

Do the cheap, repeatable route before drinking AP bottles. Natural AP regeneration is wasted while you sit capped, but bottles let you choose the event that pays for them. These are different resources with different timing decisions. Finish a route with a clear purpose: experience, event drops or a specific reward threshold.

FAQ

Is this a Boudica Prime build?

No. It covers epic Boudica. Prime is a separate commander with a different role and tree.

What talents should I get first?

For a farming primary, Insight, Rejuvenate and Trophy Hunter are useful targets. Include their prerequisites and adapt later points to the job.

Do her talents work as secondary?

No. The march uses its primary commander's talents.

Does Feral Nature guarantee a five-second skill cycle?

No. Treat it as a rage-generation choice, not a guaranteed timer.
