Quick Answer
In Arms Training, the order of Lohar's added skills should follow the weaknesses of your chosen march. A published order is a reference run, not a universal solution. Test the pair before spending scarce expansion items on a ranking attempt.
The goal is to preserve enough troops for the later fights while accepting the least damaging available modifiers early. A march built for ordinary barbarian farming should not be assumed to receive the same benefits against the event's special target.
Why Skill Order Changes the Run
Lohar becomes more dangerous as the run develops. Available modifiers can punish prolonged fighting, repeated skill hits, normal attacks or particular weaknesses. The event reference includes named modifiers such as Thrill of Battle, Armor of Thorns and Strike of Vengeance, but some explanatory entries are duplicated or inconsistent. Read the current card before accepting it.
| Modifier type | What to ask before choosing it |
|---|---|
| Scaling over a long fight | Does my march kill quickly enough to limit the scaling? |
| Retaliation after skill damage | How often does this pair trigger the retaliation? |
| Stronger counterattacks | How much normal-attack contact will the march take? |
| Shields, healing or reduced damage | Can the pair finish before the next defensive cycle? |
This gives you a way to choose when the available cards or your commander pair differ from the guide you watched.
Prepare the March
Choose your strongest suitable pair, equip the primary and use the correct troop type. Read whether the target is classed in a way that allows your peacekeeping, barbarian or equipment bonuses to apply. The word “Lohar” alone does not settle that question.
Check expansion, rune, title and permitted buffs before starting. A timed bonus that expires halfway through a long attempt can change the later fights. Keep a record of what was active so a second run can be compared fairly.
The First Run Is Information
Use an ordinary attempt to identify where the army starts losing too much strength. Record the pair, troops, buffs, chosen cards and remaining troops at each meaningful checkpoint. If the run fails after accepting a particular modifier, change one decision before buying a larger expansion.
Do not change the pair, equipment and skill order together and then attribute the result to one of them. You want to discover the cheap adjustment before paying for a bigger attempt.
Milestones Versus Ranking
First decide whether the account is collecting attainable milestone rewards or competing for rank. Those are different budgets. Compare the extra reward above the finish you can already achieve with the cost of expansions and other consumables needed to chase it.
Read the current Legend/final-stage scoring rather than assuming every troop remaining contributes under an unchanged formula. If a ranking is moving faster than your feasible improvement, keep the consumables for a task where they will produce a predictable benefit.
Which pair is always best?
There is no reliable answer independent of skills, gear and the current modifiers. Start with the suitable completed pair you own and test its failure point. Buying another legendary to reproduce an old event report is a separate, much larger expense.
